Well aren't these just the cutest little earrings ever?!?! Etsy strikes again, and this time it's with a handmade company called KooKooCraft. The perfect accessory for adding a bit of texture and pattern to just about any outfit. I'd fill you in on which pair is my favorite, but I'm not sure I could choose! Have a great weekend, friends! xoxo

I'm on a serious display kick lately! Checking out window design, studio layouts, space styling, etc. is so fun, and there's SO much out there to see. Much more than I thought there'd be. Pinterest never fails at providing tons of inspiration and links to blogs and sites that I would have otherwise never been aware of...love that! All of the photos above were found there, along with about a dozen more. I'm still looking and looking and looking...and pinning.

Happy Friday, friends! Thought I'd share a bit of studio inspiration...seeing as how I'm officially in the market for a little before + after project. Sprout Studio has been perfectly hosted by my sister's children's shop and play space, Fiddlesticks, for the past three years. We've had SO much fun! However, with the closing of Neeley's business...that girl needs a break...I've been on the hunt for another spot. Exciting, but a little scary, too. I finally found one! So now I'm in DIY mode, searching out studio spaces and planning a serious trip north to IKEA. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted on the progress. Wish me luck...and have a great weekend!

Well done, Mr. Beam. A southern girl like myself can certainly appreciate this clever ad series...makes me want to splash something special into my coffee mug this morning. Whiskey for life!!!

Throwing it back today! The ever fabulous Matisse has inspired me more than every lately. Can't get enough of his color combos, patterns, prints, and florals. Love.

I LOVE to cook, don't you?! Coming from a big Italian/Southern family, I guess I was destined to, but lately I've felt like toasting pop tarts, throwing frozen lasagnas into the oven, and serving up cereal. However...after looking through Sweet Paul's amazingly photographed eats on Pinterest, I think I'm back in the game. It's foodie inspiration to say the least. Enjoy!

Sharing a little design crush on this sunny Monday. Happened upon Amber Interiors over the weekend and fell head over heels. She mixes prints, embraces all kinds of art, and has a casual approach to her design that I love. Follow the link above to see more of her work, and check out Amber's blog as well. Hope you have an hour or so to spare, cause that's how long you'll be looking, and looking, and looking, and looking...

Oh to be there right now...
As productive as this week is proving to be, I'd much rather have my toes
in the sand about now. How cute is this print?!? xo

It's officially Spring Break at the Ballard house! So while my boys are busy riding bikes, watching movies, and inviting every neighbor kid to our yard for kickball, I'll be busy with mural projects, lots of canvas orders, and organizing all KINDS of goodies for an upcoming wedding. The photos below are from a wedding I helped with last year. Tying the knot seems to be so much more relaxed these days, with fun details and artsy touches. Event design is something that has happened for me by total accident, but I really love it! It certainly helps that I've had the honor of working with unbelievably sweet brides and their kind families. Looking forward to lots of fun parties in the next few months!

Little flavor flags...I think there were seven altogether.
Two thumbs up for Southern Comfort.
And the beautiful couple.
