Happy Friday, friends! Our big week back at SPROUT couldn't have been better! We painted, cut, glued, drew...and more importantly talked/laughed/imagined...our way to artistic awesomeness. It was so great to catch up with all of my sweet kids. Our project of the week? GO FLY A KITE! Our lovely inspiration? Luci Everett. It's always nice to imagine going somewhere we've never been, or hitting the dusty towards a familiar place we know and love. Our mixed media pieces all tell a different story, and remind us that, at the end of the day, there's really no place like home.

There's nothing like finding the perfect gift...especially when it's handmade. These modern heirlooms from Paloma's Nest are timeless, simple, and tops on my wish list.

I'm crushing on pillows today. My sweet neighbor made a few for my living room sofas recently, and they're in desperate need of some friends! These beauties from Hus and Hem might just do the trick.

I'm SO not a food photographer, but I had to document and share a picture of l' aperitif that my sister and I made...canapes d'croque monsieur. Cozy goodness.

Happy Friday! I'm soirée bound this weekend, and couldn't be happier. Le menu includes familiar dishes like croque monsieurs, pâté de campagne, and escargot, along with a few new bites that I've yet to conquer...roasted bone marrow, anyone? Looking forward to reporting back next week. Au revoir!
